Greenshutters is located in the National Park, a minutes walk from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The stunning beach at Barafundel Bay (consistantly voted Britains best) is conveniently located close by, accessed either via a spectacular walk along the coastal path route or an easy drive away.
The house itself is located on it's own secluded plot just off the main Freshwater East to Lamphey Village road. The house also benefits from total privacy and panoramic sea views.
Freshwater East Beach (our local beach) is accessed via a steep path that can be accessed from the bottom of the garden. For those who don't want the exercise, there's ample parking at the bottom of the hill in order to easily access the beach.
There are quick access links to south west Wales via the M4 motorway. The nearest Train station is located in the next Village of Lamphey and nearest airport is Swansea.
The house has stunning views out to sea and also over Trewent headland from the upstairs kitchen, living room, dining area and master bedroom. All 3 lower ground floor bedrooms have windows looking over and doors leading directly onto the lawned garden from where there is direct access to one of the most beautiful and underpopulated beaches in the UK.

Greenshutters has been built to the highest construction standards and was designed to blend sympathetically into the natural environment.
The house itself is a wooden construction built to Passive House airtight standards. It has triple glazed windows and doors and a mechanical heat ventilation system installed so that it benefits from a continuous flow of fresh air which maintains a healthy internal environment whilst removing the stale air.
There is no need for central heating as a result of the large south facing windows and doors, which allow the natural sunlight to flood in and heat the house up. A wood burning stove and underfloor heating in both bathrooms is all that's required to add additional heat to the house during the winter months and the MVHR heat exchanger, ensures that the heat is then retained and distributed around the house. The majority of the materials used to construct the house were sourced locally.
The house can accommodate up to 11 people with the following room configuaration:
